Married kids mortgage etc. Did the Spanish Catfish in the late eighties / early nineties, Visited lake Nasser for Nile Perch in 2001. Lived in Plymouth for while so into some sea fishing - conger, bass and especially mullet. Current ambition is to catch a proper Comizo Barbel in Spain. Been 6 times on family holidays to an area that has them, managed a few up to about 8lb. Did a week with Peter Staggs in Ruidera.Both my mates got big fish upto 30lb, I missed out. Did get a small one from Extremadura on a lure whilst I was black bass fishing which was a first for me! My advice to anyone is to get out there and do it now before it goes the same way as the catfishing- all handed to you on a plate. Tight lines
